Vintage 1980s Epiphone by Gibson S-400 Superstrat — Pearl Cream Finish, HSS, Rosewood Fretboard, Modified Floyd Rose Tremolo

Up for sale is a rare vintage late-1980s (circa 1986–1989) Epiphone by Gibson S-400 Superstrat in a striking aged Pearl Cream finish. Manufactured during the peak era of shred and hard rock, this classic Superstrat features the iconic pointhead headstock with the authentic “Epiphone by Gibson” logo and serial number stamped on the back.
This player-grade instrument features a slick maple neck with a rosewood fretboard adorned with classic shark-tooth (or shark-fin) inlays. Versatile tonal options are provided by its original HSS (Humbucker / Single-Coil / Single-Coil) pickup configuration controlled by a 5-way blade switch.
Modifications & Player-Grade Condition Note:
The bridge has been upgraded/replaced with a Floyd Rose style double-locking tremolo system.
The headstock locking nut / string lock has also been upgraded/replaced.
The guitar shows authentic cosmetic character, surface wear, and aged patina consistent with a late-‘80s instrument. Please inspect all high-resolution photos carefully for exact physical condition, body finish aging, and hardware details.
